We are a Bible believing church in the heart of Stockport, South Manchester that exists to make, teach, and send out disciples of Jesus Christ.
Following the latest announcement of a national lockdown - we have taken the difficult decision of moving online for the time being...
Our online service can be viewed at 10:30am either here
or on our YouTube channel or Facebook page.

Where & when?
We meet on Sundays at 10:30am,
upstairs at Walthew House, 112 Shaw Heath, Stockport SK2 6QS.
There is a car park behind Walthew House and plenty of street parking in the area.
Why come along?
We believe that Jesus is the single most important person to ever live and that his death and resurrection form the single most amazing event in the history of the world.
As such our purpose is to make disciples of Jesus teaching them from the Bible what it means to follow Jesus and sending them to live out that teaching in every part of life, for the good of their neighbour and the glory of God.
There are so many reasons for coming along to Christ Church Stockport, but here are four:
- You’re moving to or in Stockport or South Manchester
- You’re thinking about going back to church
- You’re considering Christianity
- You’re cynical about Christianity
Who?
Who are we?
What is Christianity?
What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus?
What is church?
We believe that the church is not a museum for religious people but a hospital for those who know they need help. As our greatest needs are met in the Lord Jesus, the purpose of the church is to make, teach and send out followers of Jesus, to the glory of God and for the good of our town.
