Growth Teams
Tuesdays, wednesdays & thursdays
Growth teams are an essential part of the discipleship of the church. Growth teams seek primarily to ‘grow’ our understanding and appreciation of the bible as we apply the previous Sunday’s passage deeper. Growth teams also enable us to ‘grow’ in relationships with one another, in our corporate prayer life, in our pastoral support of one another, and in our outreach together.
There are currently three growth teams that meet in different locations across Stockport. We encourage everyone who regularly attends church to be members of a Growth Team.
Youth Work
Sunday Evenings
The youth group (school years 7 to 13) meet on a Sunday evening. It is an opportunity for our young people to deepen their understanding, appreciation and application of the bible and have lots of fun at the same time.
Children’s Groups
Sunday Mornings
Children’s groups meet during the Sunday Service. We run two teaching groups, infants (school years 1 and 2) and juniors (years 3 to 6), and there is also an unmanned creche. The children study the same bible passage as the adults, appropriate to their age. The children’s team also run occasional events for all the children.
